These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the YAPIC platform at yapic.tech (the “Service”), operated by the YAPIC project (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
YAPIC is a private operator toolkit for short-form video generation and distribution. It composes AI-generated narrative videos and, where authorised by the operator, publishes them to third-party platforms (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels) using each platform’s official APIs.
The Service is currently operated privately: it is used by its author to run a set of personal social-media channels and is not offered to the general public. The administrative UI is access-restricted.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use does not violate any laws applicable to you.
The Service connects to third-party providers including, without limitation, TikTok, Google (YouTube Data API), Meta (Instagram Graph API), Anthropic, Google AI (Gemini), ElevenLabs, Auphonic, Cloudflare R2, FAL.ai, and Pexels. Your use of those providers through the Service is also governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third-party service.
When you connect a social-media account via OAuth, you authorise the Service to act on your behalf within the scopes you approve at the provider’s consent screen. You can revoke this access at any time from the Service’s Settings panel or directly in the provider’s account settings.
You agree not to use the Service to:
You retain ownership of any content you provide to the Service. By using the Service to publish content, you grant us a limited licence to transmit and process that content for the purpose of operating the Service (including delivering it to the social-media platform you have connected).
The Service uses AI models that may generate output based on your input. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before it is published.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, (B) ANY THIRD-PARTY CONTENT OR CONDUCT, OR (C) UNAUTHORISED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the YAPIC project, its contributors and affiliates, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and liability limits).
We may modify these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s country of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
